Steering Wheel Repairs & Recover
Cracked, worn or peeling leather is the first thing you touch every time you get in the car. We fix it properly, not with a slip-on cover.
Steering wheel leather takes more wear than almost anything else in the cabin. Years of grip, sun and hand cream leave it cracked at the 9 and 3 positions, shiny and slick where your palms sit, or peeling away from the frame entirely. A cheap slip-on cover hides it for a while. A proper re-trim fixes it for good.
We strip the old leather back to the frame, check the foam and structure underneath, and hand-cut a new leather cover to fit your exact wheel, not a generic size. Every panel is hand-stitched in place, with your choice of thread colour and stitch pattern (straight, diamond, or two-tone) so the finish matches the rest of your interior.
Most steering wheels are done as a same-day job. You drop the wheel off, or drive the car in and we pull it while you wait, and it goes back on tight, correctly aligned, and ready to drive.
Full leather steering wheel retrims start from $350, depending on wheel size and stitch pattern.
